Anybody else watching this? This better come back for a second season. It hasn't been announced yet... The concept for this show is so fun. Take this kind of nerdy girl (who doesn't listen to music) and give her the opportunity to hear the thoughts of the people around her in song. Eventually these songs become known as heart songs! I love that! But naturally reading people's minds isn't as cool as it sounds. Remember Bruce Almighty? It gets distracting and what if the thoughts are about you? That would make things way awkward.


The actors are pretty good too. I've never seen Jane Levy before but she killed it. Then you have Skylar Astin from Pitch Perfect and Alex Newell from Glee, the Queen of Stars Hollow Lauren Graham, Peter Gallagher from everything, and Mary Steenburgen from The Proposal. All of them sing and dance and act super real. This show was everything I love about TV. There is emotion, friendship, love triangles, family drama and work drama all set to music. I mean Lauren Graham sings Kesha and Monica!


The whole show is fun but then every once in a while I cried. Zoey's family is so precious and seem so close and they are going through this very traumatic time which comes to a head in the last episode. I was laughing and then I was bawling hysterically. It was a crazy emotional time. I really hope it comes back for a second season.

Lucy Hale is enough to sell this movie to me. But it was really good anyway. A little predictable but that's not surprising for a rom com. The fun thing about this movie is that it really has a real rivalry. And takes place in publishing. Is publishing that big of a deal? There seem to be a lot of movies and TV shows around publishing. But it's about this small, cute, sweet book publisher who merges with a bigger, stiffer, more capitalist book publisher. And then the teams war against each other. So a lot of it is about the work rivalry but it is also about Lucy and Austin Stowell and how they interact together. It's cute. I would totally watch it if I were you.

TV show Psychological thriller if there ever was one! Penn Badgley plays the perfect insane character! He's got this look that just scares the crap out of me! The main girl is amazing too but she's nothing compared to Penn. Shay Mitchell is also one of my favorite people from her Pretty Little Liars days. She also plays her character well and I love her. The story has enough real life to make it believable but also enough crazy to well make it crazy. This isn't going to be a long post because only season 1 is on Netflix so there is only 10 episodes but I think they're still going because IMDB has 2 seasons and they left it open. So I will wait patiently for the next installment because I like Penn anyway but this is a new level for him.

Baby is real

I think I felt the baby move. It was very trippy. But very cool as well. We also found out recently that it's a girl. I'm having a baby girl. Now that I'm showing and feeling it and can shop for it, it all seems more real. This isn't going to be a long post because there isn't a lot to say. I'm really not doing much but growing a human is enough for me I guess. So we've started shopping. We have a crib, a bassinet and some artwork for the nursery. Also we just have a bunch of cute clothes. Not anything real big although she's going to be born in winter. The next step is a carseat stroller combo. Any suggestions? Basically I want just a bunch of black or grey onsies for her easy clothes and then sweats and leggings to wear over them.
