Spider-man Far From Home

Movie OMG from the second this movie started I was laughing. I don't know what it is about these movies these days but I love it so much. I think Marvel movies have always been pretty funny but ever since Thor Ragnarok it's been different. They have been more comedies with action and I am here for it! I love Tom Holland and I actually really love Ned and MJ too. Basically Peter's high school life is fantastic in the way that he just accepts his place as a nerd. He's such a cute and funny nerd though! There is no way that he doesn't date! Obviously this movie doesn't have RDJ but it does Happy, Nick Fury, and Maria Hill so that's fun! I did not like Jake Gyllenhaal in this character... I don't like Mysterio anyway but Jake was weird! I guess he was playing to the high schooler Peter but he was so weird to him. I think it just seemed like he was so condescending and obviously trying too hard to seem like the good guy. Peter was so childish and passed t

Disney + part 2

The new movies that came out after I only had streaming. The Descendants takes the children of Disney Villains and Princesses and shows what has happened since the villains were defeated and how happily ever after looks. This movies focuses on Maleficent (Kristen Chenoweth) and her daughter Mal (Dove Cameron,) the Evil Queen (Kathy Najimy) and her daughter Evie (Sofia Carson,) Cruella De Vil and her son Carlos (Cameron Boyce RIP,) and Jafar and his son Jay and Belle (Keegan Connor Tracy) Beast and their son Ben. Ben becomes king and decrees that some of the children of the villains go to school on the mainland instead of their dangerous island. They come to school to shake it up but, that is not how it ends. Also it's a musical... The Descendants 2 takes those same kid characters and the success that they have in school and adds some drama from Uma (China Anne McClain) Ursula's daughter; Harry, Captain Hook's son; and Gil, Gaston's son who are still on the Island an

Disney +

I honestly quit watching all of my other things and have been watching everything on Disney + So now I have to tell you all of the stuff that I have watched including some new things that I have never seen. I started out by watching a classic. Jungle Book (the cartoon) I hadn't seen this in about 20 years? But it was so fun and it blows my mind that I still know all the songs. However as you get older you start seeing things from a different perspective and while watching it, I hated Mowgli. He's such an annoying kid! He doesn't know that he's had help from every angle, everyone in the jungle has taken care of him. He thinks he's invincible and he's not. It drove me crazy! High School Musical 1-3 I thought I hadn't seen the 3rd one but I guess I have because well I remembered it. I was in High School and played soccer against the school where it was filmed when the first one came out so I watched it many times and I had just graduated and was starting

Mormon and the Meth-head

Podcast and Stand-up So I started listening to this podcast months ago. I loved it but with my current job I just don't have the time to listen that I used to. So I've unfortunately only gotten through about 20 episodes. But my friend told me that they were coming to the comedy club by us. So we got a group together and went. The story behind this podcast is that a recovered meth-head (Jessa) meets an innocent recently "recovering" Mormon (Aaron). So they started taking turns telling stories that are relatable to each other but sometimes they just talk about their current lives. They are both comedians too so that is an added bonus. I relate so hard to Aaron! Every story he tells I nod or laugh or sometimes almost cry because they are things that all religious kids have gone through. But while I will talk about the podcast more when I get more caught up, I wanted to talk about the comedy show. Have you all been to Wise Guys? I had this delicious spinach and artich

Kiss me First

TV show This show is on Netflix but it was made and produced in England. It has a Black Mirror feel but it is way more detailed. The star Leila loses her mom and escapes the real world by diving into a virtual reality where fighting is the way of life. I see it as a mix between Fortnite and the Matrix. The trouble starts when she finds a group that hang out exclusively with each other in a crazy other world made by a hacker. I'm still not real sure what Leila did to piss off this hacker but it sets up a series of crazy events. The show itself is really weird and I didn't follow it very well but the story works and was pretty cool. I didn't know any of the actors in it, they were British. The show only has one season so there isn't really a lot to tell you unless you want me to tell you the whole show. It was really weird and I don't know if I would watch it knowing what I know now... Basically if you like Black Mirror and the Matrix you will probably like this sh

Atlanta Monster

Podcast This is a podcast from the same people that did Up and Vanished but instead of solving an unsolved murder they focused on telling the story about a person who was blamed for dozens of murders but only convicted of 2. This one is about the Atlanta Child Killer Wayne Williams. I've heard tons of stories about these years of terror in Atlanta. I knew that Wayne Williams had been convicted for it because while the police were watching a river for bodies he drove past and quickly threw a body into said river. I knew that Atlanta was racially divided and that caused controversy. Actually the second season of the show Mindhunter talked about how the arrest and conviction happened. What I didn't know that both the podcast and Mindhunter talked about was that Williams was never convicted of killing a child. He was convicted of killing 2 adults and they just said they caught the monster. So what Payne wanted to do in this podcast was to talk about the different theories that

Travel-Capitol Reef

I know this isn't what this blog is normally about but I wanted to tell you guys about my camping trip for my brother in law's wedding. Yes that is right, I was camping for a wedding. It was so cold! But it was so pretty too! So there was a group of us at the group campsite the night before the wedding. It was us, the bride and groom and a couple of their bridesmaids and groomsmen. We were supposed to have a giant bonfire as the "rehearsal dinner" with all the people that were invited to the wedding. No one showed up though which seems really unsupportive... But anyway, there was drinking, there was smoking, and there was telling stories. It was very fun but very cold. I think it got down to 12 degrees. The next morning it was very hard to get up because it was so cold! But we had to because it was the day of the wedding and my husband was in the wedding party. They all got ready together at a BNB in town. I was invited to get ready with them even though I wasn't

Into the woods

Movie I had tried to watch this movie before and I did not find it interesting... I watched it again a few months ago when I was in my musical phase. It was alright but nothing special. I still wasn't impressed even with the all-star cast of actors. I mean; Meryl Streep, Anna Kendrick, Chris Pine, James Corden, Emily Blunt, Johnny Depp, and the cute kid from Les Mis! The music was alright but kind of hectic. I don't know why I didn't like it but I just wasn't impressed. It was probably amazing on Broadway but it didn't transfer onto the screen. I think that happens a lot with Broadway to movies. When I listen to Les Miserables, I don't listen to Hugh Jackman I listen to the original London cast. It was pretty successful too. I just don't know. This is kind of a lame post but other than the people in it, I really wasn't impressed.

American Horror Story Coven

TV show I watched the first season of American Horror Story (Murder House) years ago with my boyfriend I had before I dated my husband. We loved it but the relationship was short lived so about a year later I watched the second season (Asylum) with my then boyfriend, now husband and it was a very different experience! We were so nervous because we were innocent and it was dark and awkward. We didn't even finish the show. Now 3 years later as I'm embracing my witch side and also not as innocent and nervous I decided that I could start watching again. And season 3 is Coven. We watched the first 6 episodes on Saturday and I was hooked. After that we watched one maybe 2 episodes everyday until we finished it. I'm not going to lie, my husband watched it while watching football and basketball on his phone which drives me so crazy because he cannot focus on 2 things at once so then when something happens in my show I need to explain it to him... I really hate it... But this isn
