Mental Health

Ok so most of you know I've been going to therapy for about a year. I started out loving it and thought finally I have someone to talk to that has a degree in figuring messy brains out. However that only worked for so long. Turns out even if you have a degree I just can't open up. So I tried a different therapist and in our very first meeting she asked if I had ever been diagnosed with ADD or something similar, no offense she said. Well I haven't but I also have never bothered to ask. That kind of thing is obvious right? Well I don't know if I ever mentioned this before but I have a couple friends who are on medication for ADD and ADHD and listening them describe what it feels like made me think I have it too. But I also have situational depression, I like to call it isolated or unique depression... Turns out if you combine these 2 issues it leads to a mood disorder... AKA bipolar. Which is what I was recently diagnosed by a medical professional with. Now with this dia

WW84

Movie Gal Gadot is an actual queen. I love her, I love Chris Pine too but not in the same way... he's looking old but his voice was so hot. Um for some reason I don't like DC movies. I mean this was the first movie in a year that I've seen in the theater so it was a little exciting. And the movie was exciting...? I don't know how good it is. Like the story was alright, I didn't really understand all of it. Also Kristin Wiig was the best part of the show. The guy I was with apparently is a nerd because he seemed to know the story... So basically the show is about a magical crystal! Yeah Citrine was the basis of this show! I loved that. Diana's story line was pretty boring, but obviously Wonder Woman is fantastic so it's a confusing draw. I don't really know what to say about the movie that won't spoil it but it's a pretty decent girl power movie.

The Last Song

I know I can't believe I watched it after so long either. I was in a chick flick mood and I saw it on Disney+ and I'd never seen it. I actually thought I would fall asleep during it but turns out I wanted to finish it. I didn't even know it had Kelly Preston and Greg Kinnear! That added to the appeal for sure. Once I saw Kelly I knew I had to watch it in honor of her passing last year. She wasn't in it a lot but Greg was and he was perfect! I think Miley is a good actor. I think it's probably really hard to play 2 people at once. Liam looks just like Paul Walker and it was freaking me out. I want to watch Hunger Games now to see if I can see it there. It's the typical summer fling (actually a lot like the notebook) but a little different. But it is Nicholas Sparks so that makes sense. I will always enjoy seeing Liam shirtless so it was worth it for that but the actually story could definitely be better.

Red Sparrow

I didn't think I would like this show. Jennifer Lawrence playing a Russian spy? Sounded more cheesy than exciting... But I was wrong! JLaw was kind of perfect. She plays this badass girl who just notices everything and thinks everything out before acting. She ends up basically unraveling the whole Russian game plan. There is a part where she totally destroys another "sparrow" and it's kind of the biggest power play I've ever seen. Anyway, she starts off as Russia's premier ballerina and we later find out that her entire life revolves around the dance company that she works for. Like they own her. And when the time comes that she can't dance anymore she needs to find some other way to support her and her mother. Yes they get her by using her mother as collateral... what could go wrong? The other part to this movie is the fantastic Joel Edgerton. I love him in the few things I've seen so I was pretty excited to see him. And they start this will they, wo

Legos

Ok this is a life update As you guys know my 2020 was life changing as many of you probably experienced too. I got separated from my husband then the world shut down and in Utah we had a pretty big earthquake all around the same time. The next few months were very hard; very lonely and stressful. I was one of the lucky ones who was still able to work. I only lost 8 hours a paycheck. Also my schedule was 7 days on and 7 days off so I was able to focus on work for a whole week and then sit at home and cry for a whole week. In May things kind of started to open up a little and change and I was able to have a girls weekend. This changed everything! I even went on a few date with a few guys I knew before I divorced my husband. They were duds but at least I was able to step out and experience something new. After that I went pretty social; I went camping a few times, I went to lunch with a lot of different friends, I went to St. George by myself, I went to Oregon, I went to New Hampshire an

High Fidelity

Zoe Kravitz is golden! I definitely developed a crush on her. Also really appreciated that she threw a younger man into the show to prove that people in our 30s can still date attractive people no matter how old they are. Although I'm not actually attracted to Liam... no offense to Thomas Doherty who is not unattractive, it's just not my look... I do appreciate him as an actor though (See Disney's Descendants.) He is actually the reason I watched it. But this show is way better than one season! I get that she kind of did finish her goal but there were so many questions! This is the typical show about a girl that just can't seem to find a relationship that works out and she takes breakups really hard. Rob is not the perfect pretty girl that we kind of get used to watching shows about New York but we know they exist. We know that New York is either super fancy, starving artist, or there are the middles but I think even they feel poor in NYC... I really appreciated this t

Jane the Virgin

TV Show I finished this show on New Years Eve and I kind of like that because it had the most beautiful ending. I have been team Jane and family since the beginning. She wanted a happy marriage her whole life and it ended with the perfect wedding scene. The Villanueva women are the best people to watch. Alba seems so serious but we know that's all an act. Xiomara seems so not serious but we learn it's just because she's lacking confidence. Jane is the least impressive character on the show. She has 2 real love interests in the show. I mean she dates others including Tyler Posey who I now love... But really Michael and Rafael are the big ones. I personally think Raf is better but that's because Justin Baldoni is hot on everything I've seen him in. I don't even know who plays Michael... But Michael is the one she started out with, her first love so that is significant. When she chose Michael I wasn't surprised but alas this is a telenovela so no matter what

After We Collided

The sequel to After Tessa is a whole new person in this movie. She has taken the love that Holdin gave her and really used it to find her confidence and her sexy. She is so hot in this show where Holdin is literally falling apart after their break up. I watched this show after knowing that he was faking in this show... Like I had already looked him up and saw that his tattoos were fake and I really like them so I was already over Hero... But Holdin was really torn up! So this is the crazy drama that makes for a weird show. This is about Tessa though. She finds her perfect job, she finds another cute guy, she finds her voice. She's adorable and so cool in this show. After is about the bad boy corrupting the innocent girl where this show is about that innocent girl purely just being herself and I love her so much more in this show. I think Josephine needed it though. I don't know what all to say about this movie since it is a sequel and I went into a lot of the nuances in the

After

Ok so I previously went on a bender with a bunch of my favorite movies. I watched all of Pitch Perfect, Dude, both To All The Boys I've Loved Before, both Kissing Booths, and naturally both Zombies movies. Then I started looking for new cheesy teen romcoms and I needed a new show so I decided to watch Teen Wolf, which is perfect... But then last night I got home from work a little early and I was looking at Netflix and I saw a new movie that I had saved but never watched. After said it was a teen romance show so I was like ok, let's do it... And turns out the star is this cute, young, small part Harry Potter actor Hero Fiennes Tiffen. He's cute but I'm pretty sure his tattoos are fake... which is a big part of why I like him in this. There's this part where he's laying on the couch with some girl all over him but looking at the other star of the show and well it was one of those moments that you always kind of look for in real life and it never happens... So in
