90210 is a revamp of Beverly Hills 90210 with Shannon Doherty, Jennie Garth, Jason Priestly, Luke Perry, Ian Ziering, Brian Austin Green, and Tori Spelling. Which is why I watched the show originally but it was a tease. Only the girls are in the revamp and they are only in the first season. I love Kelly and I was very sad when she was gone. 

Anyway this show is 5 seasons of high school drama. I love this drama but you do the math. High school only lasts four years at the most and this show (and most shows start with the sophomore year.) That means there was 2 extra years of high school drama but they talk more about how they've grown since high school. Now I am a victim of this kind of thought too. Time moves so fast that we feel like more time has passed for our lives when we don't see time passing for other people. I look at 20 year olds as kids even though they think they are adults, but i'm sure 40 year olds think of me as a kid too.

But with all that I still loved this show. But like I said, I see all the shows. This is just like The OC, One Tree Hill, Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl, Vampire Diaries and probably a lot more that I just can't think of right now. I watched all the shows pretty obsessively, some of them multiple times. I love the characters though. They might all be crazy but they're how we all think of ourselves. I can't tell you how many dreams I've had where I am surfing in the Pacific Ocean and then going shopping on Rodeo Drive with my best friends that will never leave me but that hasn't happened and I have spent most of my life getting a new crew every year.

I love everyone in this show except Annie and Dixon... Which is funny because I loved their parents I mean Rebecca from Full House and Jimmy from Gilmore Girls! And the main stars, Liam is kind of physically the perfect guy... Navid really doesn't change in the whole 5 seasons, Ivy is like my idol, and I love that they will all do anything for each other. I'm going to drop some spoilers here because I need to talk about the ending. 

My favorite couple on the show is Annie and Caleb mostly because Rob Hoffman is one of my favorite people but I wanted Annie to end up with Liam for Liam's sake. He needed her the same way Navid and Adrianna needed each other. Another favorite couple of mine couldn't last because he died... That's Ivy and Raj, they had so much fun together and that is just what Ivy needed to move on. Now although I love Robbie Jones in One Tree Hill and Hellcats I wanted Naomi to end up with Austin. I also have to believe that Silver would have ended up with Mark in the end too and I'm glad that we got to really meet the half brother (and they picked the best guy for the part!) Dixon can have Silver's surrogate I don't really care about him.

So now that I've gotten the couples off my chest I can give real reasons to watch the show. Like all of the other shows these kids are loyal! They can tear each other down again and again but the second anyone else tries to mess with any of them its all for one and one for all. I admire that so much and it leads to stupid plans which hopefully teaches people that scheming never works out. There are also so many celebrity cameos and other guest appearances which I have always loved. I have this habit of calling people by their names in other shows to describe the show I'm watching now. For example Luke from Gilmore Girls plays Liam's dad and in some weird lying twist TI's brother from ATL plays his son and Liam's half brother?  Don't get me wrong I loved Charlie's character, his dad just didn't match. Also Julie Taylor tried to date Ethan! Go to Texas and find Matt! 

In conclusion, this show isn't for everyone but if you liked the original or any of the shows I mentioned earlier, you will probably like this show.
