TV show- Harlan Coben

This is another British mystery show. Its about a kid that goes missing and  20 years later some of his family is still looking for him. Its actually tragic! But the story that comes from this tragedy is awesome. There is stories around kidnapping, pedophilia, infidelity, depression, murder, and most importantly friendship and loyalty.

Hannah Arterton is the only one I recognized from the show, only because we had just watched her in Safe. Every other actor is probably somewhat famous in England. They were all very good actors, very believable.

I'm curious to know more about this Harlan Coben guy. I want to watch everything he does. Also searched him and it turns out that he is American! Why are all of his movies produced in England? He lives in New Jersey, went to HS with Chris Christie and College with Dan Brown! So that's cool right? Turns out, I need to read his books too!

Dunkirk                                                                               Movie Christopher Nolan really likes his actors. Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy are in everything he does. That doesn't have much to do with the movie though, just my thoughts.  Dunkirk is a city on the French Coast. I don't know how much of the war was fought in France but Wikipedia says they fought for both sides. Originally France with England declared war on Germany when Poland was invaded but France was taken over pretty early after that and France surrendered, the battle of Dunkirk happened the same month. This movie starts with soldiers on the ground in Dunkirk, pilots in the air above Dunkirk, and civilians with boats coming from England. TV show Psychological thriller if there ever was one! Penn Badgley plays the perfect insane character! He's got this look that just scares the crap out of me! The main girl is amazing too but she's nothing compared to Penn. Shay Mitchell is also one of my favorite people from her Pretty Little Liars days. She also plays her character well and I love her. The story has enough real life to make it believable but also enough crazy to well make it crazy. This isn't going to be a long post because only season 1 is on Netflix so there is only 10 episodes but I think they're still going because IMDB has 2 seasons and they left it open. So I will wait patiently for the next installment because I like Penn anyway but this is a new level for him.

Hobbies - Coding

This was very slow going. I even tried to sign in and learn some tricks at work but I took over a month to even finish the first lesson. It got harder than I thought it would. I am 3 lessons in and although I want to keep going I think I've learned that coding might not be for me right now. Maybe with the COVID now I will have plenty of time and motivation to really focus on these skills. I think coding would be a very cool job/hobby but I don't know if I have the capacity to learn a new skill right now. I was very bad in college and I don't know that I learn just to learn. I know I can learn for specific jobs and I have a very good memory but just learning with no end goal is hard. I'm to a point where I can do what they tell me to at the beginning of the lessons but by the end I'm just like "ok I don't know what you want me to do" and I cheat... It's not the best for me.
