Everyone was talking about this movie. I get it because it has been a while since this movie was remade but, it is a 4 time remade story. The first time a film was made with this story was in 1937 with Janet Gayner and Fredric March (never heard of them- way before my time) Then Judy Garland and James Mason remade it in 1954. And then it looked like they had had enough after Barbara Streisand and Kris Kristofferson in 1976 (way more my speed- I love Kris and Barbara is one of the biggest people ever.) But I guess Bradley thought that the last 40 years was missing this story and decided to bring it back. Don't get me wrong, I loved Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper in these rolls. I just don't understand why people obsess over these kind of things. The story is so sad but beautiful, but I have to say, I don't like the song. Shallow is weird and the echo things they do are so annoying. I did like that she used to sing in a drag bar because that is so Lady Gaga and really relevant right now.




Um I usually try not to spoil the story but it is an old story, so I'm going to go a little deeper than normal. I thought I knew the story, but I've never seen any of the other movies so I was wrong. I knew someone died but I thought it was the wrong person. Also, Bradley Cooper can't sing. I appreciate him for trying and I don't think that he shouldn't sing. But to say that he is a professional singer and Rockstar seems like a stretch.




I honestly kind of think that I wasted my time with this movie. I didn't need to watch it. It wasn't that good. It wasn't bad either, but it wasn't that good.

Lucy Hale is enough to sell this movie to me. But it was really good anyway. A little predictable but that's not surprising for a rom com. The fun thing about this movie is that it really has a real rivalry. And takes place in publishing. Is publishing that big of a deal? There seem to be a lot of movies and TV shows around publishing. But it's about this small, cute, sweet book publisher who merges with a bigger, stiffer, more capitalist book publisher. And then the teams war against each other. So a lot of it is about the work rivalry but it is also about Lucy and Austin Stowell and how they interact together. It's cute. I would totally watch it if I were you.

TV show Psychological thriller if there ever was one! Penn Badgley plays the perfect insane character! He's got this look that just scares the crap out of me! The main girl is amazing too but she's nothing compared to Penn. Shay Mitchell is also one of my favorite people from her Pretty Little Liars days. She also plays her character well and I love her. The story has enough real life to make it believable but also enough crazy to well make it crazy. This isn't going to be a long post because only season 1 is on Netflix so there is only 10 episodes but I think they're still going because IMDB has 2 seasons and they left it open. So I will wait patiently for the next installment because I like Penn anyway but this is a new level for him.

Baby is real

I think I felt the baby move. It was very trippy. But very cool as well. We also found out recently that it's a girl. I'm having a baby girl. Now that I'm showing and feeling it and can shop for it, it all seems more real. This isn't going to be a long post because there isn't a lot to say. I'm really not doing much but growing a human is enough for me I guess. So we've started shopping. We have a crib, a bassinet and some artwork for the nursery. Also we just have a bunch of cute clothes. Not anything real big although she's going to be born in winter. The next step is a carseat stroller combo. Any suggestions? Basically I want just a bunch of black or grey onsies for her easy clothes and then sweats and leggings to wear over them.
