Hobbies-Shopping

Hi guys, I feel like I should have another hobbies one but I don't have any new hobbies. One thing that did happen is I dipped crazy far into my savings because I went on a month long shopping spree. I am seriously stressed about it, but I got so many things that I really needed! When I recognized that this was happening I started buying clothes for my friends kids! I have Christmas all taken care of for everyone! Now I start the down side where I have to replenish my savings account. Which means I will be working as much as possible next month. I'm unbelievably stressed that I let this happen, but it was worth it in the moment... So for the rest of the year I'm only buying groceries!


I mentioned in a post about a year ago that I was trying to get into real estate as a side hustle. I'm still working on that and right now my plan is to be able to make another step towards this goal in 2021. My current plan is to refinance this year, pay off our loan for our basement renovation next spring and by the end of next year have enough money to start renovating the upstairs of my home. When I get the whole house fixed then I want to rent out the top and the bottom as 2 different apartments and buy a new house. Eventually I want to have 5 houses in a few different kinds of places. For example, I want a cabin in the mountains that I can rent out and a beach house somewhere that I can rent out. I also have another side hustle that I'm working on but I am still trying to find capital for this one.


Next on my list to learn to do is coding. I have a couple of projects around my house to do but when I'm done with those I'm going to start an online program. Since I brought it up I guess I'll tell you my plan for the rest of the year. In October I want to start coding and November I want to start my new side hustle and by December I want to make a new website! That is my goal! So I guess you could say my hobby right now and living a life I don't have... But I'm working on it.

Lucy Hale is enough to sell this movie to me. But it was really good anyway. A little predictable but that's not surprising for a rom com. The fun thing about this movie is that it really has a real rivalry. And takes place in publishing. Is publishing that big of a deal? There seem to be a lot of movies and TV shows around publishing. But it's about this small, cute, sweet book publisher who merges with a bigger, stiffer, more capitalist book publisher. And then the teams war against each other. So a lot of it is about the work rivalry but it is also about Lucy and Austin Stowell and how they interact together. It's cute. I would totally watch it if I were you.

TV show Psychological thriller if there ever was one! Penn Badgley plays the perfect insane character! He's got this look that just scares the crap out of me! The main girl is amazing too but she's nothing compared to Penn. Shay Mitchell is also one of my favorite people from her Pretty Little Liars days. She also plays her character well and I love her. The story has enough real life to make it believable but also enough crazy to well make it crazy. This isn't going to be a long post because only season 1 is on Netflix so there is only 10 episodes but I think they're still going because IMDB has 2 seasons and they left it open. So I will wait patiently for the next installment because I like Penn anyway but this is a new level for him.

Baby is real

I think I felt the baby move. It was very trippy. But very cool as well. We also found out recently that it's a girl. I'm having a baby girl. Now that I'm showing and feeling it and can shop for it, it all seems more real. This isn't going to be a long post because there isn't a lot to say. I'm really not doing much but growing a human is enough for me I guess. So we've started shopping. We have a crib, a bassinet and some artwork for the nursery. Also we just have a bunch of cute clothes. Not anything real big although she's going to be born in winter. The next step is a carseat stroller combo. Any suggestions? Basically I want just a bunch of black or grey onsies for her easy clothes and then sweats and leggings to wear over them.
