TV show


This show is on Netflix but it was made and produced in England. It has a Black Mirror feel but it is way more detailed. The star Leila loses her mom and escapes the real world by diving into a virtual reality where fighting is the way of life. I see it as a mix between Fortnite and the Matrix. The trouble starts when she finds a group that hang out exclusively with each other in a crazy other world made by a hacker. I'm still not real sure what Leila did to piss off this hacker but it sets up a series of crazy events.
The show itself is really weird and I didn't follow it very well but the story works and was pretty cool. I didn't know any of the actors in it, they were British. The show only has one season so there isn't really a lot to tell you unless you want me to tell you the whole show. It was really weird and I don't know if I would watch it knowing what I know now... Basically if you like Black Mirror and the Matrix you will probably like this show.

Lucy Hale is enough to sell this movie to me. But it was really good anyway. A little predictable but that's not surprising for a rom com. The fun thing about this movie is that it really has a real rivalry. And takes place in publishing. Is publishing that big of a deal? There seem to be a lot of movies and TV shows around publishing. But it's about this small, cute, sweet book publisher who merges with a bigger, stiffer, more capitalist book publisher. And then the teams war against each other. So a lot of it is about the work rivalry but it is also about Lucy and Austin Stowell and how they interact together. It's cute. I would totally watch it if I were you.

TV show Psychological thriller if there ever was one! Penn Badgley plays the perfect insane character! He's got this look that just scares the crap out of me! The main girl is amazing too but she's nothing compared to Penn. Shay Mitchell is also one of my favorite people from her Pretty Little Liars days. She also plays her character well and I love her. The story has enough real life to make it believable but also enough crazy to well make it crazy. This isn't going to be a long post because only season 1 is on Netflix so there is only 10 episodes but I think they're still going because IMDB has 2 seasons and they left it open. So I will wait patiently for the next installment because I like Penn anyway but this is a new level for him.

Baby is real

I think I felt the baby move. It was very trippy. But very cool as well. We also found out recently that it's a girl. I'm having a baby girl. Now that I'm showing and feeling it and can shop for it, it all seems more real. This isn't going to be a long post because there isn't a lot to say. I'm really not doing much but growing a human is enough for me I guess. So we've started shopping. We have a crib, a bassinet and some artwork for the nursery. Also we just have a bunch of cute clothes. Not anything real big although she's going to be born in winter. The next step is a carseat stroller combo. Any suggestions? Basically I want just a bunch of black or grey onsies for her easy clothes and then sweats and leggings to wear over them.
