Chalk it Up

This was a dumb movie. I like gymnastics and it had Drew Seeley in it and I was watching a bunch of dumb movies that day so I watched this one too. This is about a college girl who is basically already trying to be the perfect housewife socialite when she's not even married. Then when her boyfriend has to transfer to a school in England he breaks up her and then her life revolves around trying to get him back. In typical movie fashion she has a phase where she actually makes friends and becomes her own person but then she back peddles when she finds out her boyfriend didn't even really like her. There is this part where her boyfriend calls her "skinny-fat" and that is not true at all! She's ripped. Like I'm pretty sure she is a gymnast in real life. And I was right she was a gymnast for the Carolina Tar Heels so lets consider her one of the greats like Michael Jordan and Mia Hamm. But this is about the movie not about her. But also I really like making connections with other actors and characters. The best part of the movie is her best friend who is naturally querky. Also Rachele Brooke Smith is in it and I really liked her from the second Center Stage and the Bring it on with Christina Milian. Also the other love interest is on the Teen Beach Movies but looking a lot less like a fake cheesy beach movie character so I only recognized that I recognized him. And Drew Seeley has been in a lot of other movies my favorite being Another Cinderella Story with Selena Gomez. I'm talking a lot about the people because the actual movie was like I said dumb.

Lucy Hale is enough to sell this movie to me. But it was really good anyway. A little predictable but that's not surprising for a rom com. The fun thing about this movie is that it really has a real rivalry. And takes place in publishing. Is publishing that big of a deal? There seem to be a lot of movies and TV shows around publishing. But it's about this small, cute, sweet book publisher who merges with a bigger, stiffer, more capitalist book publisher. And then the teams war against each other. So a lot of it is about the work rivalry but it is also about Lucy and Austin Stowell and how they interact together. It's cute. I would totally watch it if I were you.

TV show Psychological thriller if there ever was one! Penn Badgley plays the perfect insane character! He's got this look that just scares the crap out of me! The main girl is amazing too but she's nothing compared to Penn. Shay Mitchell is also one of my favorite people from her Pretty Little Liars days. She also plays her character well and I love her. The story has enough real life to make it believable but also enough crazy to well make it crazy. This isn't going to be a long post because only season 1 is on Netflix so there is only 10 episodes but I think they're still going because IMDB has 2 seasons and they left it open. So I will wait patiently for the next installment because I like Penn anyway but this is a new level for him.

Baby is real

I think I felt the baby move. It was very trippy. But very cool as well. We also found out recently that it's a girl. I'm having a baby girl. Now that I'm showing and feeling it and can shop for it, it all seems more real. This isn't going to be a long post because there isn't a lot to say. I'm really not doing much but growing a human is enough for me I guess. So we've started shopping. We have a crib, a bassinet and some artwork for the nursery. Also we just have a bunch of cute clothes. Not anything real big although she's going to be born in winter. The next step is a carseat stroller combo. Any suggestions? Basically I want just a bunch of black or grey onsies for her easy clothes and then sweats and leggings to wear over them.
